A poem of love
They fall for the flowers, so bright in the sun,
But forget the roots where the true work is done.
In springtime’s bloom, all seems so divine,
Yet autumn arrives, and the colors decline.

A love built on petals will wither away,
For beauty and hobbies can lead hearts astray.
But roots hold the strength, the core of the tree—
Values, and morals, and true unity.

The blossoms may charm with their fragrant display,
Yet winds of change scatter their splendor away.
Shallow foundations will crumble and break,
But deep-rooted love can endure the earthquake.

Do not build on status or fleeting allure,
For time will reveal what is fragile, unsure.
Align with the depths of a soul's steady ground,
Where truth, not appearance, is solidly found.

Through winter's cold grasp and the trials of years,
It’s roots that will hold, through joy and through tears.
Flowers are fleeting, a moment, a hue—
But roots tell the story of love that is true.

Let love sink deep where the soil is firm,
Through storms and through seasons, it holds to its term.
For flowers may fade, but roots ever grow,
A love built on truth will weather the snow.
