Tamalia searches for ingredients to save a little girl
Tamalia, with one hand holding Podolfo, passed over the red toadstool, the purple Mushroom, and the orange fungi she did not recognize. The rain was beginning to slacken. She wiped the water from her beautiful, brown eyes, and went on looking.

"She'll be even sicker soon." The Witchy Woman mumbled to her overly large toad.

Podolfo, her transformed lover, croaked.

"Yes. The fever will kill her if not brought down, but feverfew will not work by itself this time. I must have an extra ingredient. So far, the purple mushroom is the closest to the mushroom I seek."

The rain subsided. "It'll have to do, and I hope it is powerful enough." She picked the purple mushroom and placed it in her foraging bag. Her host Horoal was waiting for her. She ran back to his cottage.

The young girl was covered in perspiration as her father held a watered cloth to her forehead. He sweated also, but his fear was evident anyways. Horoal began boiling the feverfew along with three select leaves of the Agis plant, and one mint leaf so the little girl would not regurgitate when administered.

Tamalia set Podolfo on the table. She began to prepare the purple mushroom, and soon it was ready. As the town belonged to Horoal, and he had the most invested in the child's well-being he added the last ingredient and brewed it with the correct binding words. Tamalia mumbled the words also.

The girl was near delirious, but her father coaxed the hot liquid down her throat. The potion was special, but would it work enough to cure? After ten minutes the little girl, Yetta took a deep breath and sighed as if expelling the nasty stuff from her frail lungs. She would live!
