A poem about my brother.
My brother, with me since the womb,
No one else can fill his room.
He knows me more than I know myself,
And I know him like no one else.

We share a look, as twins often do,
Though boy and girl, we’ve drifted too.
Yet in our faces, there remains
A mirrored glance we can’t explain.

We play our games, we laugh and chat,
But sometimes he gets lost in that—
Too heated over things so small,
Yet I can’t help but love it all.

Faith and politics spark the flame,
Opinions strong, though he won’t claim.
We argue quick, sharp words we hurl,
But he's still my brother in my world.

Punching, scratching, tempers flare,
But just as fast, we breathe the air.
Cooling off as siblings do,
Forgiving quick, then starting new.

I can’t imagine life without
The highs, the lows, the fight, the doubt.
Though at times we’re far apart,
He's always close within my heart.

I love him deeply, as I always will,
My brother, my twin, my bond unstill.
