This poem is to bring to light the pain a father feels after losing an unborn child.
Unspoken Loss
by Merlin Mclean (aka King Merrio)

A life unborn, a heart that beats no more
A dream dissolved, a future now impossible to explore
The weight of a single choice, a brutal burden to bear
A father's pain, a grief beyond compare

The silence screams while into the emptiness it echoes
A soul that mourns with a heart that trembles
The what-ifs haunt as the why's resound
For a father's sorrow is a wound unbound

The pain of loss, the ache of might-have-been
A father's love, turned into a grief unseen
The world moves on, yet I remain
A father, lost, hopeless in sorrow's refrain.
