Supermarket Race
It was about 10 am and the grocery store was quiet, and the stockers were getting prepared for the evening.
Flipflop Joe enters the store right behind Flowing Flow in her bathrobe. They both take buggy's and move to the first aisle toward the bread section. Ahead of them Blue Hair Granny is shuffling halfway down the bread aisle now.
Over the loudspeaker a voice Offers a one a day special for the first customer at the Blue Light special.
At this point all three shoppers are at the end of the bread aisle and turning toward the long dairy and meat aisle ahead of them. On the right side Blue haired granny shuffles on head down and moving instinctively. Flipflop Joe thinks he has it made a straight shot to the blinking blue light at the end of the aisle. But alas as he takes two steps, he run into a store clerk pushing his tray through the door and across the aisle. Flowing Floe seizes the chance and falls in behind blue hair granny. After a few steps she sees a path open to her right to get around granny. Moving into the slot she suddenly finds herself blocked by the Butcher bringing out more products. Backing slowly, she backs right into Flipflop Joe and as a gentleman he steps aside to let her through. Blue haired granny has arrived first at the Blue Light special counter and declines the reward of 4 lb. pack day old hamburger for 99 cents a lb. Flowing Flow arrives and accepts the prize graciously.
