Wales V Scotland Regularly At Cricket

How About Wales Play Scotland Regularly At Cricket At International Matches?
I think at the time of writing, it has been a while since a Wales v Scotland first class match.
My idea is that a Welsh cricket select could play Scotland again at first class level.
I understand Wales play as part of the England and Wales team at first class level. And I am happy for Wales to play as part of England and Wales, or either to play as their own side.
But my view is that even if at test, limited overs, and T20 level Wales play as part of the England and Wales combined side. The Welsh could still play select matches against Scotland at T20 and limited overs games. In the same way that Australia or India touring teams have had friendly matches against English counties. So if English counties can play Australia, then why can't a Welsh national select have a game against the Scottish international team?
And it could be the best Welsh players or of Glamorgan. Or even a select of the Welsh Minor Counties side.
Also Wales could play Cornwall, the Netherlands, France, South Africa, the West Indies, New Zealand, Ireland.
This could happen at men's and women's cricket.
We have had Wales v England matches. But I think Wales v Scotland would be very competitive. Perhaps matches every year.
A Wales select could be a good team for growing cricket nations to play games against.
A Wales select could be helpful for England and Wales, as it would allow Welsh players to play international matches before they are selected for the England and Wales combined side.
Cornwall could also do the same.
And perhaps there could be a Northern England v South of England select cricket match. And the winner could play a combined Celtic Nations side.
Or perhaps a 9 team trophy at cricket with Northern England, the Netherlands, the English Midlands, the Isle of Man, Southern England, Wales, Scotland, Cornwall, and Ireland as a tournament? This could be done at different at levels at men's and women's cricket.
