MRS. SMITH
Oh! Hello! Me? You, know... me? How? Yes, I do suppose so… Well… what do you need? You need... me? What for? Oh! I know you. I just can't seem to place where I met you… Maybe there…. No… I’m not sure we have met. You’re sure, well then, I guess I have to think some more. Hmmm.

(#2 - HAVE WE MET BEFORE? begins)

(MRS. SMITH)
Oh! You're Sean. Ben's friend! Yes! I got! You.. came here to ask about what? The inspiration weeks? Ah! (Her voice turns grim) Ah, yes those were some days. The book? Oh, it's nothing. Just all my memories of the time... before. You want me to... read it to you? Well, I suppose it can't hurt, right? (She opens the book) Ahm, Once upon a time, around one year ago, at southern high-

(#3 - INSPIRE begins)

SCENE ONE: THE HALLWAY ~ May 17th 2009

(BEN, ASH enter)

BEN
Monday, again?

ASH
I guess so.

BEN
You're telling me I have to suffer another stupid week of school.

ASH
That’s exactly what I’m telling you.

BEN
What do you have for the first hour again?

ASH
U.S History.

BEN
Dang It, well I guess you have to go.

ASH
(Glances at his watch) Yes, I do.

BEN
But, WHY! (The Y GIRLS and SEAN enter)

BRITTANY, TRACY, TIFFANY
Girls!
(The sign changes to display “Y GIRLS”)

BEN
Not this again!

SEAN
Telling them to stop won’t get you anywhere!

ASH
I’m going to let you handle this! (ASH exits)

BEN
Wait-

BRITTANY
What are YOU looking at? (To SEAN)

SEAN
Nothing.

BRITTANY
Stop looking at me!

SEAN
I wasn’t doing anything to you.

TRACY
We know you love us.

TIFFANY
Everyone does.

SEAN
To be honest, you guys are disgusting. (Gasp From all)

BRITTANY
You wouldn’t dare say that to ME.

SEAN
Oh believe me, I would.

TRACY
You do not insult the Y girls!

TIFFANY
We are the best.

SEAN
I’m done here. (SEAN begins to exit)

BRITTANY
I’m not! (She pulls him back)

BEN
Stop! (Everyone stares at BEN)

BRITTANY
What did you just say?

BEN
Stop!

TRACY
You should- (PRINCIPAL FRENZAL enters)

PRINCIPAL FRENZAL
Maybe, you three should be more careful about where you do your bidding.

TIFFANY
Whatever. (The Y GIRLS exit)

PRINCIPAL FRENZAL
Now, the rest of you get to class.

BEN
Yes, Principal. (PRINCIPAL FRENZAL exits)

SEAN
Thanks for defending me back there. I really appreciate it.

BEN
It’s the least I could do. The Y girls are brutal.

SEAN
Who are they anyway?

BEN
What! How do you not know them? They are the rulers of this school.

SEAN
I don’t… maybe… I just live under a rock?

BEN
Well… how do I explain them? (BRITTANY, TRACY, and TIFFANY enter)

BRITTANY
No need Ben. We’ll gladly explain ourselves to your little friend here.

SEAN
Hey! I may live under a rock, but I’m not ‘little’!

TIFFANY
That’s the first thing you need to learn!

BEN
Oh god…

TRACY
You DO NOT defy the Y girls.

SEAN
But-

BRITTANY
No buts!

(#4 - THE Y GIRLS begins)

BRITTANY
So, you don’t know who we are? Well you're gonna find out.

TRACY
We are the Y girls!

SEAN
Okay... but why?

BRITTANY
Because all of our names end in 'Y' of course!
SEAN
All of them?

BEN
All of them.

(Blackout)

Author's Note: I plan to update every week. And just so you know this takes place in a very small town.
