A lovely dog!!!! |
The very first time Chloe came to us, we knew she will be loved. Now, ten years later, we see the aging process make a difference. She has slowed down. Although she still has that "bark", recently we realized she has slowed down, much, much to our concern. She lost some of her teeth, she eats very little, she slowed down a bit although she still has that "bark" that only Chloe can do. She was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer. Not only that: we were told she will die soon... It was a very hurting thing to realize that Chloe is fading. Even as she tries very hard to keep up with barking and running, we can see and feel the energy that she was when she first came has slowed down terribly. She seems to be staring some times; quiet as a mouse. She still clings to any of us; however, she seems "lost" most of the time. She looks and stares and some times she just lays down and keep herself as quiet as a mouse. It is just terribly upsetting to watch her as slows down. A call from the dog doctor told us she is on her way out... It seems within a few weeks or so, she will just lay down and die... Goodbye, dear, old girl, as you leave us, we hope you will find Grandpa; and with him you will find comfort wherever that will be. It is a very sad time for us to realize you will not be with us much. longer. We are sad, and in our hearts we know we shall miss you so very, very much. Our great hope is that you would seek Grandpa when you do go away from us. He is out there, waiting; and do let him know we miss him so very, very much; and that we shall also miss you when you do go... Farewell, Chloe; the years you are with us is coming to an end; and our lives will never. be the same. We shall, and we will, definitely, miss you... Do look for Grandpa because we know he would be a comfort to you... |
