We Love Horses

Trigger and Black Beauty
Were a pair of equine cuties.
Seabiscuit and Secretariat
Could out run a simple chariot
Each horse’s fame
is one of marvelous claim
And in the field they showed
Great strength for plow or load
To be the source of crops
That farmers would seldom stop.
These animals served in peace or war
For soldiers with supplies galore.
These hard-working animals have earned our praise
For the beauty and strength, and the roll in our history each one plays.
