To love is to live
Nothing but the truth, that is
Happiness earned, it has to be shared
Together, with others, your being, it's cared

Words on a screen or writing on a page
Many different views in this day and age
It's so easy just to be so kind
Yet we find it so hard, why?

Hand in hand, what could we do?
Together, all of them and me and you
Are you afraid of what you've seen before
Or what waits for you outside that door?

To love is to live
And, hell, I wanna be alive
