Daddy's going to be in trouble for messing around with mama's wagon.

The blinking clock read 7:30.
Tim stretched out his right arm and pressed down on the red button in front of him.
“Beep!” honked the driving toy.
Nothing. He tried again.
Still nothing. Perplexed, he looked outside at the driveway.
“This never happened before.” Tim stood up and began to sweat trying to think of what to do next. Where was Beverly?
“Dadda…”
He looked back at his son who was giggling at him as he slobbered all over his bib in his swing seat.
“cCee…”
“Ce… What??” Tim drew a blank.
“KkkEYs dada…”
“Keys!!! I love you, Percy!”
Tim stooped and reached under the bed, going through everything he could find.
Stuffed bear? No. See & Say? No. Plastic keys?
Oh yeah.
Tim stood up and then bent over the toy driving console.
Where was the keyhole? This superhero weirdness drove him insane. Only his wife Beverly seemed at peace with all the changes in their life since Percy had been born.
With a hunch, he looked over to the side of toy, and smiled. He inserted a plastic key into the keyhole and turned it.
VROOOM!!!
Looking out of the bedroom window, Tim could see the brake lights of the robot car now.
“Yes!!” Tim turned, undoing Percy from his swing, grabbing his baby bag, he flew down the stairs and out the front door, and right into the burning stare of his wife.
“I was getting gas!! Do you know what it’s like to try and explain a robot car, that’s blinking in and out of existence, to a bunch of Good Ol’ Boys hiding behind their trucks? Oh, and stop honking next time!! You don’t want to know what that does!!”
Tim looked down at Percy, who smiled and then threw up on him.
