The Colourful House of Commons

Aquamarine reigned supreme -
Blue, the sidekick.
Carmine and
Dark Brown opposed
Eggshell.
Flourescent Pink gave a wink to
Green - the Queen!
Hot pink flushed, suddenly supressed.
Indigo commanded attention -
Jade ignored them.
Khaki had forgotten to mention as
Lime lazily left the room.
Magenta cried "we are all doomed"!
Navy retorted "Listen up!"
Orange waved an empty cup.
Purple tried to pass the motion.
Quartz had only caused commotion.
Red knew that they had the power,
Salmon standing smugly by,
Turquoise was not one to cower;
Ultraviolet was too shy.
Vermillion weighed up the options
White remained blank whilst
X was not represented.
Yellow - the primary on his high horse said
"Zinc can make the call"

And they all relented.
