My WdC Journey

I do call WdC my second home but, sometimes I wonder if it isn't my home entirely! I spend more time in the WdC hallways than I do in my own. The last few years it's been less due to health issues but, I still get my WdC fix in when I can. I am hoping to find my muse and be around more this year. I enjoy my family here for many reasons. This time of year is always special to WdC members because there is always a new round of Yellow cases and Blue that pops on in the newsfeed and we celebrate one another by gifting c-Notes, MBs, and virtual hugzzz. There is no greater feeling than being welcomed into the fold as one says.

When I turned Yellow case on February 21, 2018 I was so shocked and amazed that they had chosen me to promote to Yellow case after only being on WdC for 5 months. You see, I signed up on May 16, 2017, and I didn't do anything on WdC until September 2017, because I had a family emergency and frankly had forgotten about it until I received an email from them reminding me about my account. I have been a fixture around here ever since. I did go by another handle "Cowgirl has Heart. Later changed it to LegendaryMask when "WdC SuperPower Reviewers Group"  updated the forum in 2018. I've been LegendaryMask ever since. I enjoy WdC a lot. I have made friends who have turned into family and I hope, vice-versa. I love how everyone chips in and gives their honest opinion about something in a very positive way. They don't cut each other down. We build one another up with helpful feedback. If you ever have a question that you can't figure out you can ask anyone in the newsfeed or if you want to ask it privately you definitely have friends here that you can trust to keep it to themselves. We care about one another's welfare and try to check up on each other. Even so much as to call the police for a welfare check. Trust me I have and will do it again for any person here. They are my family and that's what we do for each other here. Some of us bond like a puzzle. We all fit together like one humongous puzzle. My PeEpS!

I had belonged to another writing site and frankly, they were all cold and heartless to me. Not one person welcomed me or helped out with anything. I couldn't get any answers to my writing or reviews. I needed to know if I was any good. I searched on Google and came across writing.com and decided to try it. It was my fault that I didn't pursue it at the beginning but, life happens and here at WdC we get it. Life does happen and if you can't make it every single day we all understand. We all do welfare checks on each other especially when you come up missing for too long. What is even better is the response you get when you return. I love my PeEpS here so much more than any other site. They understand where I'm coming from. They get me for who I am. We can write or not because sometimes your muse goes into hiding. We try to help each other find it, that is what is SPECIAL about WdC! We care!!!

I have many friends here and I can count on each one to encourage me in my writing and my personal life. Sometimes we need that outlet and you can find genuine people here and although some of us have never met we give you all that and some love to boot. Yes, you can love people that you have never met before! Not to say we haven’t tried to meet. Life gets in the way and it isn't time to meet that is until God wants us to. He puts others in your path at the right time. So, when it is time I will get to meet Rhoswen - Relentless Victory my 1st sista, Quilli ☕ 1st sista, 🌻 pwheeler ~ love joy peace 1st sista, SharmellesLovableExpressions 1st sista, ruwth 1st sista, LinnAnn -Book writer 1st sista, Krista 1st sista, Jayne 1st sista, Ẃeβ࿚Ẃỉtcĥ Cupid who? 1st sista... ok I have a lot of 1st sista's here, and many more like my entire group from "Cards of Love" . My true cuz Marvelous Friend believe it or not we have never met. I can’t forget my brothers in arm Jay O'Toole , 🌖 HuntersMoon , tj wanderlust-words-in-motion , Joey says, Love's on the Loose , Spiritual Dawning , and so many others. If I have forgotten to name you please forgive me I love y’all so much! I can't forget to name my two besties Soldier_Mike and Sum1's Home that I have tried so many times to meet in the middle, maybe one day we will. I would have loved to have met Angus , COUNTRYMOM-JUST REMEMBER ME , Kate - Writing & Reading , Bubblegum Jones , and so many more who aren't with us anymore for different reasons.
