A poem about Behind the Green Door
The green door gleams, a whispered dare,
Secrets cloaked in stagnant air.
Shadows twist with silent tread,
Where untold stories lie unsaid.

A creaking hinge, a chilling sigh,
The scent of dust, a faded cry.
Cobwebs veil forgotten things,
A tarnished locket gently swings.

Footprints fade on ancient floors,
And echoes haunt the dusty moors.
Each darkened corner holds its breath,
Whispering tales of love and death.

What lies beyond the faded hue?
A tragic past, a secret clue?
The truth awaits, its tendrils curled,
Within this strange, forgotten world.

So take a step, if you should dare,
Behind the green door, secrets bare.
But tread with caution, whispered friend,
For what you find may meet your end.
