An Elegy for my marriage that happened ten years ago. Remembering bliss
Ten months was all we were given,
To share, to dream to dare have what others did,
February ceremony, two candles one flame made even,
Before calamity caused you to be hid,

Others may not care two times seven makes fourteen,
That I knew in sin city, to us it was a place of bliss,
We feasted that night and I was your queen,
Newly crowned Lord and Lady with a kiss,

Some mysterious cosmic cog unwanted,
Cut our time short while I was waiting,
Ten years I've been haunted,
Wondering if at the pearly gates you'll be waiting.
