An Acrostic poem about Grumpy - the Leprechaun.
Grind of cobblestones beneath his tiny boots,
Rage like a hornet's trapped in wellies' roots.
Unveiling pots of gold with grumpy sighs,
Mumbling curses at the rainbows in his eyes.
Pint of ale clutched tight, a beard of tangled shamrocks,
Yearning for his burrow free of tourist gawks.

Longing for the peace of peat bogs deep and cool,
Each tourist's wish a bitter, leprechaunish drool.
Pinched fingers, muttered threats, and muttered charms,
Running off to hide from all these tourist swarms.
Elusive fellow, grumpy, green, and sly,
Curse the day they made his gold a touristy lie.
He'll grant your wish, but grumble 'bout the price,
A grumpy leprechaun, a mischievous device.
Unless you bring him whiskey, strong and neat,
No lucky charms for you, just grumpy, tiny feet.
