While I long for those who are dead. Those set my wings aflame and let me leap
Angered and alone, her fangs out
Her skin pitch black with yellow dots, a deadly snake
Her eyes wallowy yellow, piercing you
If looks could kill
Oh, if only looks could kill

What happened to her,
this beast of a being who would let no one near enough
unless they were absolutely worthy
Who would stand her ground in face of it all
Fierce

How capable she is
Of loving what is broken, brittle and beaten
How capable she is
and how incapable she feels
Oh, let your piercing eyes wander, trust the sharpness of your sight
Let them receive it and wonder,
as you rest with yourself,
tend your light
