It's the Last Day of the Year

The morning has come on the last day of the year!
The new year will be arriving right after midnight.
Some will face the night with trepidation and fear,
While others will be planning to bring the year in just right.
Resolutions will be made by almost everyone.
Some will be kept, but some won't get done.
People everywhere can't wait to celebrate.
While enjoying yourself tonight, don't overcompensate.
No matter what any of us do, the new year will come.
Be safe and in a good space when Auld Lang Syne is sung.
