You'd say I'm ambidextrous.
I’ve always been left-handed.
Yes, that’s the way I write.
But when I’m playing baseball,
you’ll notice I bat right.

To me it is a mystery.
I just don’t understand.
Sometimes I’ll do the job one way
then use the other hand.

You’d say I’m ambidextrous.
That is an awesome trait.
To me it doesn’t matter though
‘cause neither side is great.

Instead of being helpful,
it’s not a gift at all.
I never know which hand to use
when throwing a baseball.

So I stand in the outfield
and juggle like a clown.
I’ll flip that ball from hand to hand,
just look at it and frown.

I don’t know what to do there,
which hand that I should use.
So while my teammates jump and shout,
I’m baffled and confused.

So now I’m trying soccer.
Hey, how can I go wrong?
I should have done this long ago.
Why did it take so long?

Unless you’re playing goalie,
your hands can’t touch the ball.
So knowing which hand I should use
is not a trick at all.

But I am bad at soccer.
I cannot kick the ball.
I think about which foot to use,
then trip myself and fall.

So no more playing ball sports.
I’ve found my latest game.
Now either hand will work for me.
Parcheesi is the name.
