Zombie Race

Zombies rise from their graves
not a moment to waste
all their energy is saved
for their yearly chase

from the graveyard so spooky
for their moment of fun
it seems kinda kooky
but they're going for a run

to see who'll finish first
in a spooky contest
and also who'll be worst
and be following the rest

green arms waving and off they go
oozing eyeballs bulging wide
arms like moldy dough
nothing will break their stride

should a leg fall off then no big deal
they'll just gladly hop
or crawl to the finish line for real
'til they get there they won't stop.
