5*- A Christian Read That Will Leave You Perplexed!
"Willy's Accident" by Hollis Frances is a short story based on real-life events. The tale follows a
young field engineer who narrowly survives a life-ending event. The incident ushers him to
accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, leading him to discover and embrace a revolutionary
reality.
Willy Perkins is an accomplished tech professional and an empathetic individual who has been in
the MRI field for eleven years. At a young age, he developed the ability to read people's body
language, which later graduated to analyzing their spirits. He would feel what they felt and could
understand them just as much as hearing them talk.
Something phenomenal happened just a few days before his mom succumbed to liver cancer.
Her eyes had been closed for two days and he was worried that she was in a lot of pain. Willy
would sit on the recliner in her bedroom and ask God to let him contact her spiritually so that he
would know how she was feeling. Amazingly, God answered him, and as a result, a
heartwarming, calming, and peaceful feeling engulfed his soul.
This short story utilizes reflective questions, inspirational songs, Bible verses, and supernatural
occurrences to illustrate one of the least-known gifts in Christian gatherings today. With many
brethren out there believing that it's biblically unethical to connect with loved ones who have
passed on, Willy's experience may be received half-heartedly. Still, the few who will take it into
consideration will find their convictions and beliefs revolutionized for the better. Author
Frances's book will take religious circles by storm, as he brings the supernatural dimension into
the open, regarding events only found in the Bible.
"Willy's Accident" is a novella with few, but captivating characters, who ably support a
protagonist who is at a crucial point in his life. The author masterfully delivers a grand revelation
and an emotional yet satisfying climax through gripping suspense and great wording.
Overall, "Willy's Accident" is a well-told story, which readily explains itself. It is an incredible
book that can be incorporated into churches for soul-winning purposes.

*5- A Wise and Refreshing Short Story
"Willy's Accident" by Hollis Frances is an inspirational and illuminating short story based on
actual events. Willy developed empathetic abilities at an early age due to the challenges he faced
as a child growing up in a dysfunctional family. At the age of twelve, a unique encounter with
one of the boys at school causes him to make a prayer to God with little knowledge that it would
be answered later in his adulthood and in a way he least expected. Years later, Willy survives a
stabbing assault, and a few months later accepts Jesus as his Savior. After the death of his
mother, Willy has an awakening that reminds him of the prayer he made as a child and the
special way God answered this prayer.
The book does not tarry in its progress and instead hurtles along at an even pace. The text ends
with contemplative questions that the author poses to the reader that are bound to evoke self
reflection and meditation. Also, lines from the song, “I Just Feel Like Something Good Is About
to Happen” by the Speers, are a reminder to Christians all over the world that the Lord is
watching over them and has great plans for them. For example,
I just feel like something good is about to happen.
I just feel like something good is on its way.
He has promised that he’d open all of heaven.
And brother, it could happen any day.
When God’s people humble themselves and call on Jesus
In this excerpt, the author, through the singer's words, encourages Christians from all walks of
life to live a humble life and develop a prayer life steeped in faith that God will answer their
prayers.
Tender and delicate, "Willy's Accident" accomplishes much within its few pages. What dazzles
the most is the book's elegant prose which makes this an easy read. Despite its brevity, this is a
text that carries along impressive takeaways that remain with you long after the reading is done.
Frances eloquently describes a journey many of us have embarked upon, grappling with the
tough question of what salvation entails and doubts about the meaning of faith. Then ultimately
finding it in the most improbable of places. Surprisingly relatable and full of heart, Hollis
Frances' book is indisputably a memorable text whose pulse will remain for ages.
