Tired

Covered with regrets
pain and what-ifs
Blaming it all
To my unpredictable fate

I could say
"I am strong"
Even I know
It was wrong

And I could write
A poem or a song
Just for me to endure it for so long...

With all the predicaments
That fell on my feet
I want to go scream
"Go easy on me"

Because God knows how strong
I will become and that is why
It's not all gone

Still, it weighs so much
To carry it all behind my back
Questioning myself
"Where did I lack?"

I've been kind and
I tried so hard to pass
All the standards they had
