Forgo Abandonment - Fail to Emphasize!

Burdened by moral chefs
Of these processed meals,
Earth is prescribed
A voluntary dinner
Of delicious calories.
When humanity eats,
It suffers a lack of sufficiency -
And when saving resources,
It fosters a beneficent culture
Of healthful gatherings.
Safety mirrors the superficial
And organic universe
Of the most sacrosanct,
While opportunistic lions
Engage in the drama
Of endearing
And egregious amplitude.

Seers of wealth
Perceive these efforts as invalid. 
And these less focused artisans
Decry these acts
As hypocritical and a gross violation;

While all but a few
Would live and react
In the exact same way -

Just in time to raise
Their heartfelt meal choices
To the restaurant-style indulgences
Of beer, wine, sangrias, and margaritas -
Which are known to be so tempting -
And so distinctly iconic…

While shouldering that immense respect
And infamous reply
To pop culture
Which turns the world
Toward its volatile
And predictable, bullish tendencies…
