You I love you but told you , walk away walk on...One of Matt Monro songs...for You
"You I love you
But told you
Walk away
Walk On"

Last few words of one of my favorite songs that my brother Nelson loves to sing. One of the best songs of Matt Monro .

I dedicate this song to a dearest Green Beret whom I met, fell in love, we were engaged, but , we were not meant for each other as a wedding did not happen, simply because of his words:
" I Love You...
But I cannot drag you into a world of unknown and despair. I Love You"

With those words I wish to say:
Thank You .

Exactly 50 years ago...and you came into my dream as I slept last night. You were giving me that engagement ring, a dream, a flashback...a memory that cannot be erased in my heart and in my mind.

Please, be happy whereever you are.
Thank You for the memories and walk on with the Holy Angels in Paradise .

I wish to sing this to you.
You never heard me singing this song when I was with you. Today, with all my heart and soul, I sing this for you.

"Walk away please go
Before you throw your life away
A life that I could share
For just a day...

We should have met
Some years ago
For your sake I say
Walk away please go.
I can't help but cry
But I must go on..

I am sad that I
After searching so long
You I love you
But told you
Walk away
Walk on.

If I hear your voice
I beg you to stay
So don't say a word
Just run run away

Goodbye my love
My tears will fall
Now that you're gone
I can't help but cry
But I must go you..

You I love you
But told you
Walk away
Walk on...
Walk on.

Rest in Peace
