Winning is good and so very welcome - the team is for real - a poem.
Rumbling up, while rolling towards
Voiceless triage, straighter boards;
Hogged tied, driven, seeking chords;
In that danger, scale rewards…

Football’s headache, QB’s down -
Coaches, players wear a frown;
Afterwards, glide back to town.
Seeing visions, injuries’ gown…

Newest dues are out of sight…
These victories feel oh-so right.
Never want a winless blight.
But we’re here, and we shall fight!

Treasured nuance, fettered skills,
Knowing better frets and thrills.
Coaching, practice, peaks, instills;
Now our families, fans have chills!

Horrid endings, really gory -
Make us stifle, hunky dory!
Honored trophies, stellar glory
Can’t reveal our ancient story…

Hold on tight, we’re going to win!
Seal off trouble, takes are in -
Softer blows, they’re on the chin…
Feel the shakes, it’s quite a din!!
