Poem about the sky
The heat of July is always blistering
I can feel each piece of clothing on me and every drop of sweat
Though I don't know the bar for this since I'm known to be cold year round even through the blizzards of December
While the day is hot it is the nights I long for

No matter the weather night feels colder
The moon bringing a piece of comfort with her
I'd watch the sunset if I knew you would be there but for some reason I know you won't
You're here my ghost on the moon and I still don't know how to reach you

I crave to be numb and under the moonlight I can be
She doesn't understand the things I hide in her shadows or why I avoid them in the sunlight
You are up there and I will try anything to get to you but I know enough to hide the problem from the sun
For he isn't as understanding as the moon

You were the only person on Earth who understood me
You encouraged my writing and my suicide attempt did not make you angry like it did everyone else
But now you are gone and I know you're somewhere in the stars
So I will try anything to get there too even if I have to hide it under the moonlight
