The key to my heart on Valentines day isn’t roses or candy. No, I go in for the stranger things. I like to be surprised. My husband isn’t very imaginative. That is why I am looking for a little more this holiday. I went on a dating site and found a very willing partner for an evening.

I rented a hotel room and put on my sexiest lingerie. I handcuffed myself to the bed and waited for my date. It was getting late. I heard a knock on the door. “Come in I am ready for you…”

A man in a black ski mask sauntered into the room he had a whip in one hand and a feather in the other. He stopped and hesitated at the foot of the bed when he saw me.

“Well, come on?”

He put down the feather and whip down near my ankles and ran from the room.

“Wait? What about…” I heard the hall door slam.

This wasn’t good. I was counting on him to unhandcuff me. The key was on the nightstand just out of my reach. My phone began to vibrate next to the key. “Google, answer the phone.”

“Hi, honey,” My husband’s voice came through the speaker. “I have a surprise for you. Can you meet me at a restaurant?”

“Uh, no, I am a little tied up Mac.”

“Really. I thought you were into surprises.”

“Yeah, except,” How do you tell your husband about a situation like this?

The hall door handle shook, and it opened. “Except you went on a website and set up a little ‘fun.’ and he ran out on you…” My husband’s voice came from the hall door.

He entered the room and wagged the ski mask at me. I blushed pink everywhere a girl could.
