In the Soup

Carrot, onions, tomatoes
Watered with the garden hose

Cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli
And a dash of green chili

Cucumber, lettuce, asparagus
What a taste for all of us!

Now some salt, some herbs, some garlic
A pinch of pepper put in quick

Here's a bowlful, hot and steaming
And the chef is beaming

It's time, with pleasure, to whoop
