For them to disappear- why?
Was it done by design?

More questions than answers
Raised by the calamity.
Rescue's not a guarantee;
There'd be many casualties.

A mystery to be sure
A puzzle to solve;
Who? What? Where? Why? and When?
They need to be resolved.
