My Secret Place

I'll take you to my secret place,
where sunlight spreads chantilly lace
across the verdant forest space.
We gather there,
away from city's frantic pace,
where we can share.

The squirrel's chatter welcomes me
and quashes grim monotony,
while we enjoy comradery
with Nature's world
and celebrate the tapestry
of grace unfurled.
