A man fascinated by history and discovery goes back and forth in time.
Karl entered the Luxor hotel and, went to the reception.
"Good morning sir. How can I help you?" Asked the receptionist.
"There is a reservation for Karl Davies."
The receptionist checks the computer and types something. "Yes sir, your room is 217." The receptionist gives him the keys and calls for the bellman to carry the luggage.
The bellman guides Karl to his room on the second floor.
"Is there anything else, I can help you with sir?" The bellman asked as he put the luggage in the room
"No, thank you. I am fine." Replied Karl.
The bellman leaves and Karl closed the door behind him. He sees a map of his room at the back of the door. It shows where the room is and all exists in case of fire.
Karl decided to check those exists, he opened the door and walked in the hallway passing through all the exists, till he reached a steel door. He opened it and found an elevator. He entered, and the buttons had different numbers than usual.
It read -7000, -2000, -500, +300, +1100, +2000, 2022, +2045, +3000."
Confused Karl pressed +2045 and the elevator moved up. Counting numbers from 2022 till 2045. Karl gets out of the elevator to find himself in a desert in front of someone who looks like him but I’m a bit older.
"You aren't supposed to be here." Said the man.
"Who are you?" Asked Karl
"I am you, 23 years older!" Answered the man.
"What?" Karl was stunned.
"You will know everything later, now go back and fix the mess we did!" He pushed him back into the elevator and he pressed -7000!
