TV KERF Weekly Challenge

TV KERF Weekly Challenge

Watching the news unfold
Talking heads talking nonsense
He had enough and turned off the tv

He felt he was getting old
He just wanted no-nonsense
But no one would listen to his endless plea

Listening to the news
Wanting to curl up and die
Contemplating the end of his time

Just feeling the blues
He wanted to just get high
Drinking the night away, until his bedtime.

This week's prompt is a poetry form:

KERF

The Kerf poetry form is attributed to Marie Adams.

Form rules:
12 lines made up of 4 tercets.
