three brothers find a dead body in a cemetery

"He's dead," said Tom. "call 911."
"What's a dead guy doing in a cemetery without a casket? asked Billy.
"Can you think of a better place to dump a body? said Tom.
"Where are his shoes?" asked Dill. "Look at the cuts and scrapes on his feet, the blood around his wrists, and the bruising on his neck."
"Billy," said Tom, "run up to the gates and wait for the sheriff. I'm staying here with Dill while he continues to play CSI."
This guy was murdered, Tom. It all fits."
"Of course, it does, Sherlock."
"And he's clutching something."
Uh-huh," said Tom.
"It looks like some kind of plant. I'll bet he's into drugs."
The clatter of police and equipment approached the scene. Billy could be heard telling the Sheriff all about their discovery.
The sheriff looked at Dill, the youngest of the three brothers.
"Well, I suppose you have this all figured out for me."
Dill ignored the sarcasm in Sheriff Smucker's voice and watched him.
"Lester," said the coroner, "better take a look."
Sheriff Smucker looked down at the John Doe. He went still.
"Sorry, Lester," the coroner said. "He had something in his hand. Here."
"I take it he was working undercover," said Dill. "What was he looking for?"
Sheriff Smucker's eyes narrowed. "What do you know about this?"
"Only what I have observed. Perhaps I could help if I knew more."
The sheriff hesitated then spoke. "Drugs. They're being trafficked through here and we're trying to locate the origin."
"Check out the old deserted Sampson place," said Dill. "A couple times while hunting I've observed some strangers out that way. Would be a great place to grow and store marijuana."
"We'll check it out," the sheriff said. "Now you boys go home."
"You're welcome," said Dill.
