My Daily Garden Walk Out in the morning! So fresh, to some people... Me, I’m trying to get my eyes to stay open. I only do this because I’m “required” to do some exercise every day on my diet, and it’s do it first, or don’t do it at all. I always had wonderful plans to do it “later,” I have just never actually succeeded at that. So, I decided it was first or never and I really do want to get down to my goal, or even just get down from here... I am adamant on the fact that I will not buy the next size up, even if it means wearing the same one pair of shorts I already own in that size, forever! I tried to run once. I thought after I got in better shape it would be easier, hasn’t happened yet, so I haven’t tested that premise. I do know, my one time, I didn’t like it. So, I walk in my running shoes. When people pass I pretend I’m slowing down to check my watch. Pffft, it isn’t even a watch you can check, except to tell you what time it is. The thing I like most, however, is I can check out gardens. A lot of people spend big money on plants, BIG MONEY, nice plants too! On my walk, if I see a plant I really like, I lean over to study it, and snip off a piece! You should see my garden now! I know, it’s technically stealing, but not much. More adopting, right? Well, that’s what I tell myself. And besides, one really needs more than physical fitness goals to get themselves out there, actually exercising, every friggin day. Right? And that’s why I call this my Daily Garden Walk. |
