A series of uncon. haikus made within my time spent in NYC for college the first semester.
Megalopolis

silencing darkness
a fulgent oblivion
megalopolis

Let Me Come Too

aircraft above me,
don't you have room for one more?
take me with you, please

From Lovers to Friends

she has sealed her heart
you try but cannot triumph
you have to let go

Aquarium Room

holds wonders beyond
you, dark and mysterious
aquarium room

A Sparkling Sidewalk Tonight

stars beneath my feet
a sparkling sidewalk tonight
paved with dust of dreams

Until the Ending

i wonder here, now,
how long must i wait today,
until the ending?

Oceans Blanket

sweeping me under
like the dark oceans blanket
i'm suffocating

Familiarity

the atmosphere joins
splashing right alongside me
it, familiar

Her Freckles Count One Million

tea smells of campfire
your freckles count one million
how lovely you are

Why I Have no Hair

I notice them, look.
trying to understand why,
why I have no hair

Thank you,
Sam
