Skeleton Dance

A sudden glimpse of bones
twirling in the night.
A Twilight Masquerade
that's sure to be a fright!

Skeleton Jamborees
are certainly not dull.
If there's a face you'll see,
it's bound to be a skull

Some might misconstrue
that this event is lame.
For all the dancers here
have no skin in the game.

Yet if one takes the chance
to watch these figures move
It quickly becomes clear
that revenants are smooth.

As these dancers get down,
much to our eyes dismay...
You come to realize
that flesh gets in the way.

These skeletons can bend
ways live men only dream.
Their neck contortion skills
Are best described extreme.

And though it might seem grim...
Perhaps you'd wish they'd stop
The rattling of bones
makes any music pop.

When Skeletons arise
There's one thing to be said
Their master dancing skills
are sure to wake the dead!
