Where is paradise?
A paradise is a place
A time and a state of mind
And is one’s a happy place.

I have traveled the seven seas
Been all over the world
Been to all 50 states
And 55 foreign lands.

Only seen a few places
That I might consider paradise.

They are

Barbados, Dominica, East Coast of Korea
Hawaii, Goa, Southern Oregon, St Lucia
Thailand, and Vietnam

And my home town
Of Berkeley, California.

The time of paradise
Is either between 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
“My Me time “
when I write
Sip coffee and reflect
While watching the news

Or between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
When I wind down the day
Enjoying a glass of wine.

While listening to music
And eating dinner
With the love of my life.

Paradise is also

Most importantly
A state of mind

As long as I have
My wife is by my side
Anywhere in the world
Becomes our personal
Lover’s paradise.
