Thank God the political ads have stopped, at least for the next few months. I almost welcome the avalanche of ambulance chasing attorney ads and of course all of the Medicare related baloney. Another school year has begun and there is nothing of any significance being done to protect our children at school. Since Columbine High School 20-years ago over 311,000 children have been exposed to school gun violence. Deaths, injuries and life long trauma and that does not include teachers or other adult staff that has like wise suffered. It is interesting to note that our FBI offices are secure. The recent assassination of the former Prime Minister of Japan brings to light 3- things: 1. The number of deaths caused by gun violence in Japan on an annual basis can be counted on the fingers of one hand. 2. The number of deaths caused by gun violence in the United States on an annual basis is nearing over a thousand victims. 3. With the mandatory mask mandates pretty much a thing of the past along with all of the fighting and threats that went along with mask wearing mandates I foolishly thought the fighting and discord would go away as well. But no we continue to find something to argue about. Yesterday it was 2-Karens fighting over a parking space at the mall. I sometimes watch the television show ,”COPS”. I really do not watch much television especially when it is off season for the NFL. The episodes of COPS that I do watch are older shows that now appear on YOUTUBE.. One thing about COPS, it is always current.
