Adventure of fey chapter 3 part 1

I wake up to get ready for the day I tell everyone to pack up so that we can start going to town as I finish packing I see Sierra watching me with a worry face I tell her I’m ok I just need that rest in fact I was wondering my self how was I fully recover with the whole almost being kill by a plant seem like I’m more stronger in this world even if I am human I continue to pack up my things on my backpack to start our walk to the town when all of the sudden everything went silent no birds no critter making noise I call Sierra I tell her and she tell me your right there not even a chitter everything went dead silence I tell the others to hurry up we got to to go we start heading out as we walk the Eire silence was giving me the chill we come a cross a cave with carcasses around it didn’t know what we stumbled on but Sierra horrified face she knew what this is she said we need to go now and fast I ask her what’s wrong only thing she say with fear shaking Dragon my eyes went in shock she say that we are dead just for coming across of this cave it will hunt us down in minutes that we need to get to the town and now she knows why everything went silent when we where packing she should’ve known we start all running Juliette made kitsu transform to ride in his back Sierra and Nia run beside me. as we run after while of running still not finding a clearing I hear a roar very far away behind us I turn pale it caught our scent near its den we are screw I look at Sierra and Nia about to break in to tears while running I see a glimps of a marking say something with some klm on it only thing that could be is the town we keep running keep looking to my surrounding for anything that could help me save everyone I see up ahead to my left a sword stab on a rock it could be better then what I have I thought might be magical so I go left I tell Sierra and Nia to keep going I’m gonna grab this as soon as i get closer and pull it out it start to glow and a armor magical envelope my body a black with some special design to fit on me and light weight with a shield I say score as I keep running I see the clearing out of the forest and as I get closer I see the town I see everyone coming out of the forest at the same time as me I hear the dragon roar closer scream keep running don’t stop as I keep running I get a visione of me being slice in half by the dragon and Sierra and nia dead Juliette and kitsu fight till they die I stop on my tracks I tell them to not stop and I stand my ground I get ready with my sword and the shield that it magically spawn on my other hand and a helmet envelopes my head ready to fight the dragon break through the clearing of the forest and glares at me it’s crimson scale glistening with the sun it roar one more time before it move super fast to my side I go in shock of it’s speed for being a big creature it slam me with its tail only to fly past Sierra and the others and hit the town wall to make the wall crumble with the impact of my body i wince with pain but I wasn’t to painful like the plant i head Sierra scream my name thinking I’m dead only to see me pull my self out of the wall she felt a presence of something awaken in me my armor helmet glow with red eyes as dash to the dragon slam it’s head to the ground I look back to see if everyone made it in just as I see Sierra enter I get pin by the dragon when it got close to my head to I thought I was a goner until I hear a voice right at my ear it was feminine as she spoke say that was fun I’ll let you live human you are the first to actually fight back and damaging me you have my interest till we meet again you got a good journey ahead I have your sent so when the times right I’ll be waiting for you and my names Ruby and she fly off back from where we left back to her cave the armor vanish and the sword stop glowing I was still in shock of what just happen I couldn’t believe it
I lay there only to hear Sierra scream if ok I get up slowly and bring a thumb up to her but I felt like something was missing from me half of something my soul half of it is gone was it the dragon or was it the armor I felt bitter then I usually am I went back to Sierra and the group but I didn’t care about Sierra I didn’t love her when she came to hug me I just back away and said no we went for the inn and rented rooms for everyone something wasn’t right I kept say did the dragon do this or was it the armor I had to find out so very late at night when everyone was a sleep I left the town took the sword just in case. I wonder though the wood it was dark I couldn’t see much but I saw the damage of where the dragon came from and follow it I kept eye on my back if anything try to ambush me but for some reason it was silent only the wind blowing but I had a feeling something was watching me maybe it was my paranoia I just push forward until I heard a twig break I look around and waited to see if anything would appear out of the bush or behind the tree I was nearing the dragons cave now it felt like hour of walking but when I get there it was empty that’s when I had a fetching feeling that it was trapping me in its own cave that’s when I turn around only to see her standing in the opening that’s when she spoke in a menacing tone why was I in her home invading her territory i grab the sword but it didn’t activate the magic armor then I stare at her I didn’t notice the moonlight reflecting her crimson scale but they look different with the moon reflecting on them they look purple with a hint of metallic of the crimson I was in awe that I didn’t notice her get close and pin me to the ground but not with force to kill me and she ask me again why was I here in her home I snap in to reality and look at her in fear I need to know something since our fight something wasn’t right with me like a part of me was missing she ask what you mean
