Silverfish

I happened across a bug today
a shiny, silvery thing
scuttling out from an old book.
I'd never seen the like before.

I looked it up on the internet,
there are tons of bugs, you know
and I discovered it's called a silverfish.

Its telling features matched perfectly
with the picture on the site.
It said they're pests, like roaches
and very bad news for books.
