The Town That Was Mad

This is based on Dylan Thomas' original idea for the play that became Under Milk Wood. Most of characters appear in Under Milk Wood, and I have tried to remain faithful to how they are presented there.

The small Welsh town of Llandgerrub, ( which is 'bugger all' backwards), is visited by a nice young man, Rhys Griffiths. Ostensively he is on holiday, but nevertheless his visit causes much disruption and speculation. Eventually his real purpose is discovered, he is gathering data to prove that the town is in fact mad. The town unites to defend itself, but on discovering what is considered sane in the modern world, demands the right to be considered mad, and continue it's isolated existence undisturbed.
