Never mind these tears you see
they're washing my heart clean.
For without all of my tears, it seems
I'd see no new beginnings.
I'd see no more rainbows
nor hear the birds in Spring.
My eyes would be blind to the world
and the happiness it brings.
My ears would be deaf to the song
of Nature as she sings.
Without these tears falling from my eyes
there'd be no gratitude in my life
for all the little things.
