Georgia lays in Tornado Alley.
March, April, May: wind of danger rallies.
Global warming brings new awful tricks,
frequent disasters, wild weather mavericks.
We live in a state of the unknown,
Sadly, we have caused this cyclone.
Carbon emissions used for our play zones,
problems come, we moan and groan.
A January tornado is unusual;
high winds, rough rain, damaging ice.
Not winter fun just pain and cruel.
No snowmen; a high cleanup price.
Maybe we aren’t too late,
to help Mother Nature save face.
A precious earth was freely given.
We used, abused, ruined our home place.
Imagine a future January tornado,
Given a magic spell, a rainbow show.
Kids with silly grins watch at windows.
Adults promise to learn and grow.
