Some folk hold onto their youth at all cost, but eventually, we all succumb to age's wrath
She's so pretty....just ask her so
But beneath the surface, a horror story lurks
Your best friend, with every promise made
As long as you have the perks

Her lips they pout
And those breasts they shout
“Look at me, I'm so pretty!”
If only she saw what we see
Shallow beauty only skin deep

The mirror distorts and her image flows
Down the drain, with the bleach and her friends
The only thing that matters, is a profit is made
Faking it all until the bitter end

With no moral values
Worshipping only the almighty dollar
What value is a lifelong friend?
With all those who anonymously follow

Strutting down the road of life
Catching a glimpse in a widow's reflection
A troubled frown shows the lines of doubt
Age, it seems, is ruining her perfection

While we all pass the years with grace
Her inability to accept the inevitable slide
A lift of the hips and a pouting of the lips
From only one person does she hide

What a pity she only gets...
Her procedures done externally
When it's on the inside she needs the work done
An ego that remains eternally
