Nobody knows how few days they will pass
for, alas, the haze
of time obscures our gaze.

Prompt: Write one stanza using the englyn penfyr.
Form Note: The first line: 10 syllables, the 7th or 8th syllable is important for the A-rhyme of the poem, the last syllable is important for the B-rhyme (or the consonantal correspondence…meaning that a word which sounds like the last word of the gair cyrch can be used in the following line.)
The second line: 5 syllables, the third syllable rhymes on the last word of the first line (or the consonantal correspondence) and the fifth syllable rhymes on the 7th syllable of the first line.
The third line: 6 syllables, the last syllable rhymes with the 7th syllable of the first line.
