The Pokemon world is a lot less friendly when you're a few inches tall. Can you survive? |
Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokemon, where many fun adventures are to be had and many fantastical friends are to be met. However, your adventures are going to be a bit different than most. It seems as if you have been randomly selected to take part in an experiment. For reasons you don't quite recall, you've been shrunk to a mere 3 inches in height(and there's no guarantee you won't shrink smaller!) At this scale the world of Pokemon is brutal and unforgiving. You are at the very bottom of the food chain, and you can't be sure that humans will show you any more mercy than the local wildlife. Throughout your adventures you might face an incredibly wide array of threats. Female, Male, and Pokemon giants alike will haunt your every move and render potentially lethal torments upon you should you get captured. It is unlikely that you'll find any 'gentle' interactions here. Furthermore, due to a quirk of the shrinking process, your height might shift at various intervals, but you'll never grow big enough to be safe in a world like this. In order to regain your height, you will need to journey throughout the region and get your hands on at least eight badges. As you progress through this interactive, you will occasionally come across quiz questions at various chapter branches. These questions exist both as a test of your knowledge and as a way to determine your fate. If you answer a question wrongly, you may be in for a bad time... Things to keep in mind about the interactive: 1) Do keep in mind that the content in this work is going to be both potentially violent and potentially sexual or quazi-sexual in nature . It should go without saying, but if you are under 18, please leave now. 2) I am very tolerant of what sort of posts will be allowed in this interactive, but might edit or delete certain content. 3) From a worldbuilding and design philosophy perspective, this interactive takes inspiration from Kanahebi's "Little Snatcher," a game I am fond of. This work is merely inspired by Little Snatcher and I claim no ownership of Pokemon or Little Snatcher. 4) Exploration should be a crucial theme in the story. Deaths and BAD ENDs are the name of the game here, but try not to add so many deaths that progressing past an area becomes impossible. 5) As stated earlier, any type of macro is welcome here. I have added a 'navigational assistant' that is designed to link to specific characters and areas without readers needing to navigate their way through the story tree.
