Time is liken to a scarce commodity. It is looked at in terms of past, present and future.
The present is today
And so
Time
Would have moved
From the past of yesterday
And will capture the
Start
Of the future, tomorrow.

So, be on the mark
To have things
Set in
Place
To allow for
A 'get-go' readiness
To grab the future with both hands.

Yes, things may happen
In the fullness
Of time.
But ...
As we know it,
The essence
Of time is captured
In an irreversible
succession
From
The past,
Through
The present, into the future.

The history of the past
Is ever so large,
The present
Is expansive
With ongoing occurrence
Of events
Whilst the future
Is the face of uncertainty.
