There was a young boy-Jack Mclean.
Who bought some magical beans
When he threw them out
They grew a sprout
So tall, the top was unseen.
You see Jack was the curious type
So he climbed the branches so ripe
When he got to the top
He stepped off and went flop
On the fluffy clouds of white.
Floating on clouds seemed so unreal
But peace and joy he did feel
As birds drifted by
Spiraling in the sky
His mind began to reel
His mother was six years gone
Died while sleeping at home
He smelled her perfume
And noticed the plume
Of golden hair that shone
His eyes shed the smallest of tears
As he gathered up all his fears
And called out to her
She then did purr
“Lovely Jack you are such a dear!”
This is not the time to be sad
In heaven here I am glad
Never you fear
Someday you'll be here.
Now home and take care of your Dad
