The wild in winter calls to me.
Down beside the frozen river
The old willow in ice and snow
A whimsical faerie construct.
Listen to the whispering wind
Like a low melodic whistle
The white forest plays to itself.
In the distance in the white hills
A lone wolf howls his lonely song
To the growing night in the land.
