A conviction yet a light punishment - a metaphorical sports poem.
The fool unbecoming, a ship’s stowaway,
Once newly discovered, is then locked away;
Avails the boat to reverse open seas
Must angle for ports which do rather please...

Pass all the riff-raff, and keep them onboard -
Endure the adventure, and swing a loose sword.
The maximum duty for oh’s, don’t object;
Praise, yet desire, and a miracle, inject...

A well-scripted lawyer to argue their case,
Erase all the monsters, the meanings of chase -
Everyone defecates, is poised for designing
A form and religion; who’s straight-on divining?

Awakened in awe, yet semi-enlightened -
Forgetful and shrewd, and increasingly frightened...
A bold intuition, apply gaping strength -
Brewing with poise, yet respectful at length.
